Why Predictive Homoeopathy?

What is Predictive Homoeopathy?

Homoeopathy as we all know is a beautiful science founded by our master Dr. Samuel Hahnemann in the 18th century. To start with nobody bothered to take it seriously, no one thought that one man with his sheer brilliance could develop such a vast science with such accuracy that it would stand the test of time and censure. Even after more than 2 centuries its efficacy cannot be denied!

Hahnemann gathered around him some very faithful (but not blind), extremely hardworking followers, who stood by him through all the onslaughts of criticism. Slowly but surely

Homoeopathy began to spread its roots and soon came to be recognised as a scientific system of medicine. Even its strongest critics had to accept it as an independent school of medicine.

Slowly but surely Homoeopathy began to spread its roots and soon came to be recognised as a scientific system of medicine. Even its strongest critics had to accept it as an independent school of medicine.

But then as happens with all good things, which grow, in came people with vested interests. That is the time when the erosion of any organisation or system starts. Initially they were a paltry few but then they grew in numbers. Disregarding the hardships taken by the masters, these people started making a business out of Homoeopathy. They practiced under the garb of Homoeopathy, as by now it had become a saleable commodity. As is now the case anything under the label of Homoeopathy sells! Slowly two, three, multiple medicines came into vogue till mixtures and patented products were introduced into the market. People practicing the right kind of Homoeopathy had to take the shelter of names like “ Classical Homoeopathy”, “Hahnemannian Homoeopathy”, “Kentian Homoeopathy” and so forth. The disease had become deep rooted!

Speaking about Classical Homoeopathy, ideally it was supposed to mean Homoeopathy, based on all the principles laid down by Hahnemann. This was easy to say but difficult to put into practice. So conveniently a few principles were forgotten and Classical Homoeopathy came to be synonymous to only 3 laws: “Law of Similia”,  “Law of simplex/ single medicine” “ Law of minimum dose”. As the rot spread further law of minimum was stretched to mean once a month, once a week, once a day, twice a day, ……… reasons cited were that sometimes the vital force requires repeated hammering!

The Law of Similia was reduced by some to mean only physicals or only mentals. Theories were and still are being built and anew homeopathy is taking birth daily! The wholistic idea was easily put undercovers. So we see how Homoeopathy has progressed and how we Homoeopaths have progressed! Yes, Homoeopaths have progressed………………………… financially , socially but if we ask our conscience : whether we have really progressed , the answer to most of us is a big NO!

H.A. Roberts in his book on philosophy asks:  “ what has Homoeopathy to offer to the young man” & what has the young man to offer to Homoeopathy?”

The answer lies in the movement started by Dr. Prafull Vijayakar to rejuvenate Homoeopathy and remedy all that is wrong in our system of medicine. He often says “ Homoeopathy has given me a lot, now it is my turn to give something back to this beautiful system of medicine”. He has named it “ Predictive Homoeopathy”. Immediately came the criticism “ yet another school and yet another name!”.

But this name coined by Dr.Prafull Vijayakar is pregnant with meaning: So what is predictive Homoeopathy?

To predict means to forecast correctly what is in store in the future. Now to forecast something correctly one has to have some sound basis of science and the confidence & courage to stand by it, lest anything should go wrong.

What does Dr.Vijayakar predict? What gives him the power to predict?

He predicts what is in store for his patient after he has given the medicine, how he is going to react, what he should expect, in how much time? If we give this some thought we will realise that not many of us can do it. When can a person do this? When can a medical professional do it, wherein there is such a lot of uncertainty in the field of medicine? Dr. Prafull Vijayakar can do it!

Is this really true? Can we do it? Yes, says Dr. Prafull Vijayakar ! Anyone can do it, provided he has the will to take the pains for it. To achieve these high levels of confidence and treat with the same courage grossly pathological cases, we require to work hard, very hard.

How to go about it?

First of all we need to have an open mind & a clear conscience. Then judge & evaluate ourselves, as to where we stand? What are the cases that we treat? How much confidence we have in treating pathological cases? What is the success rate in our clinics? Are we satisfied with the way we are practicing? If the answer is not very encouraging then…………

Secondly, try to find out whether we are practicing the right kind of Homoeopathy? Are we strictly adhering to all the cardinal principles of Homoeopathy in day to day practice or is it just limited to the books?

If the answer to any of the question above is a “NO”, then there is need & scope for improvement. For this we require to learn more, either from books or from seminars or lectures of experienced teachers. But in the latter option there is slight problem. Whom to follow? There is a maze of speakers and teachers, who is right and who is wrong? This is so very important because if the teacher himself is at fault then what can we expect of the student? How to arrive at this decision as to who is the right teacher? The answer is quite simple: 1. He should be showing pathological cases (cases without self-remission) cured with Homoeopathy. 2. Prescribing should be in accordance with all the cardinal principles of Homoeopathy and not a few selected ones as mentioned above. 3. Long follow-up with disappearance of symptoms as per the Hering`s law of direction of cure.

Someone who fulfills all these basic requirements can be said to be a true healer and a person worth following. A teacher has one more qualification to fulfill, he should be able to explain and guide others in a very simple and palatable language his method of approaching each case.

Dr. Prafull Vijayakar aptly fits into all these roles and therefore he deserves to be listened to and followed. Already he has made his mark in the national and international arena, but he dreams of making Homoeopathy the dominant school of medicine! His movement is towards achieving that goal.

So if you have a clear conscience and willing to accept your lacunae then join the movement of predictive Homoeopathy! Dr. Prafull Vijayakar has all the qualities that one would look for in a teacher and has supreme confidence in our system of medicine, which he believes is nothing short of a complete mathematical science. Once you understand this in the light of all the modern sciences like genetics, embryology, anatomy, physiology…………… suddenly everything becomes  crystal clear. You immediately realise where you are going wrong, where you need to change, when you need to repeat. Not only that, you can now even tell your patient what is to be expected after you have given the “genetic constitutional simillimum”.

Once these things are fulfilled, then one can say that as a Homoeopath he is on the right path to recovery!

Truly, as Dr. Prafull Vijayakar says “Homoeopathy is mathematics! And every rightly practicing Homoeopath is a predictive Homoeopath”

Isn`t Homoeopathy easy?
